PRICING & PROJECT SCOPE

Know what you’re
investing in.

Explore the services, the work involved, and the factors behind the price. Every project starts with a conversation and a proposal that sets out the scope and investment before development begins.

These are planning estimates, not checkout packages. Final deliverables and pricing are agreed in your proposal.

01 / STARTING INVESTMENT

Websites

A polished presence that explains your value and makes it easy for the right people to contact you.

How I design and build websites

Professional website

Starting around

$1,500

A focused website with clear content and an effective inquiry path.

Discuss this scope

Custom business website

Typically

$2,500–$5,000

A tailored website with a more extensive structure and content.

Discuss this scope

Advanced website

Starting around

$4,000

Custom functionality and integrations with business systems.

Discuss this scope

Typical scope

  • Content and page structure
  • Responsive design and development
  • Performance and accessibility review
  • Inquiry flow and launch handoff

What shapes the price

Page count, content preparation, custom functionality, and connections to your business systems.

Choose the level of functionality your business needs. The proposal defines the pages, content responsibilities, and features.

02 / STARTING INVESTMENT

Apps & custom software

Bring an app idea to life or build a product around your customers. We define the first useful release before deciding what to build.

How we develop your app idea

Custom web application

Starting around

$6,000

A purpose-built application for your customers or your team.

Discuss this scope

MVP

Typically

$7,500–$15,000+

A carefully scoped first release to put your product in users’ hands.

Discuss your app idea

Typical scope

  • Users, priorities, and core workflows
  • Interface and application architecture
  • Development and workflow testing
  • Release planning and documentation

What shapes the price

User roles, data complexity, payments, integrations, and the platforms included in the release.

Mobile apps are scoped individually. The MVP range is an initial planning guide; multiple platforms, complex features, or substantial backend work can require a larger investment.

03 / STARTING INVESTMENT

Internal tools

Give your team a reliable way to manage information and get work done, with a tool designed around the actual process.

Internal tool / dashboard

Starting around

$3,000

A focused application for a specific operational need.

Discuss this scope

Typical scope

  • Workflow and data assessment
  • Dashboard or administrative interface
  • Relevant permissions and connections
  • Testing and team handoff

What shapes the price

The number of workflows, user permissions, reporting needs, data migration, and existing-system access.

The starting price suits a focused operational need. A tool spanning several departments or systems is priced to that wider scope.

04 / INDIVIDUALLY SCOPED

Integrations

Connect the systems you already rely on so important information can move reliably between them.

Project pricing

Quoted to your scope.

Priced after reviewing the services to be connected and the required data flow. Share which tools you use and what needs to move between them.

Discuss integrations

Typical scope

  • API and data-flow assessment
  • Field mapping and integration development
  • Failure handling and visibility
  • Testing and operating documentation

What shapes the price

API capabilities, authentication, data volume, sync frequency, and the handling of incomplete or conflicting records.

05 / INDIVIDUALLY SCOPED

Automation

Reduce repeatable manual work with an automation that includes the checks, visibility, and exceptions your business needs.

Project pricing

Quoted to your scope.

Priced around a defined workflow. A useful starting brief describes what triggers the process, what happens next, and where a person needs to approve or intervene.

Discuss automation

Typical scope

  • Current-process review
  • Workflow and trigger design
  • Automation with appropriate safeguards
  • Testing, documentation, and handoff

What shapes the price

The number of steps, connected systems, approval rules, exception handling, and ongoing monitoring needs.

06 / INDIVIDUALLY SCOPED

Software modernization

Improve software you already have with a plan that accounts for its users, architecture, and business responsibilities.

Project pricing

Quoted to your scope.

The first scope may be an assessment, a focused improvement, or a phased modernization. Any development work is agreed after the current system is understood.

Discuss software modernization

Typical scope

  • Codebase and system assessment
  • Prioritized improvement plan
  • Agreed development or migration work
  • Regression review and release handoff

What shapes the price

Codebase condition, test coverage, dependencies, migration needs, and the continuity required during the work.

BEFORE YOU COMMIT

A proposal you
can make a decision on.

The work

Deliverables, priorities, responsibilities, and the review process are written down. Any scope change is discussed before it becomes additional work.

The release

We define the testing, deployment, and handoff needed for your project. Mobile releases also need platform-specific preparation and review.

The ongoing costs

Hosting, domains, paid services, platform accounts, and continuing support are discussed separately so you understand the full commitment.

Find the right scope for your project

BEFORE WE BEGIN

A few practical
questions.

What happens after I send an inquiry?

I’ll review your project and follow up with questions or a conversation about fit. If I can help, we’ll define an approach, scope, and price before any work begins. An inquiry doesn’t commit you to a project.

Can we start with a smaller first version?

Yes. We can identify the essential work for a useful first release and separate it from later improvements. That keeps the initial investment focused on what matters most.

What is included in the project price?

The proposal sets out the deliverables, review process, and launch requirements for your project. Hosting, domains, third-party services, and ongoing support are discussed separately so you can see the full commitment.

What happens if the scope changes?

We discuss the effect on cost and timing before adding the work. You can then decide whether to include it in the current project or plan it for a later release.

Can you work with existing software?

Yes. I can assess an existing application and recommend improvements, integrations, or a modernization plan. The first step is understanding the current system and the business needs it supports.

YOUR NEXT PROJECT

Let’s build something
worth investing in.

An app idea, a new website, or a better way to run your business. Start with what you have in mind; I’ll help you work through the approach and scope.
