React / Ruby on Rails
Web application
Worked across the browser-based product and the backend supporting it.
PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT / OPERATION 36 GOLF / 2018–2019
As lead developer at Operation 36 Golf, I led a small agile team working across web, native iOS, a live dashboard, and the data systems behind the product.
This describes my contribution in a previous employment role. Operation 36 is not represented as a Fizzy Pop Studio client.
All previous work and experienceTHE SCOPE OF MY WORK
The role combined product development across platforms with responsibility for the team’s technical direction and working practices.
React / Ruby on Rails
Worked across the browser-based product and the backend supporting it.
Swift
Developed the mobile application with support from a contractor.
Node.js / sockets
Worked on the connected dashboard experience.
PostgreSQL / Heroku
Managed the database and contributed to the development systems.
ENGINEERING AND LEADERSHIP
My responsibilities included leading the team, building development systems, providing technology guidance, and training employees.
The web application used React and Ruby on Rails. The iOS work used Swift, while the live dashboard involved Node.js and socket-based behavior. Managing PostgreSQL on Heroku was also part of my role.
That breadth gave me experience working across the interface, application logic, and operations of a connected product.
I led a small agile team and provided technology guidance and employee training. Development systems and team practices were part of the work alongside the applications themselves.
That experience informs how I help a client organize the stack, responsibilities, and delivery approach around a product.
WHAT THIS BRINGS TO YOUR PROJECT
A mobile app, a web product, and an operational dashboard can share a business purpose while presenting different development and release needs. The team and technical plan need to account for those connections.
I bring that perspective to software development and to consulting engagements where the client’s own team will build the product.
Bring the product idea, the systems already in place, and the people involved. We can define where development or engineering guidance would be useful.
